Step #9...Building the outside walls!

It's finally starting to look like a house! I love this part. We have had some MAJOR issues with the wood at Home Depot, so we ended up returning ALL of our framing lumber and buying from RP Lumber instead. So for those of you considering using HD for your lumber yard...talk to us first!

#1 Okay, this first picture is facing the west wall of our house.


#2 This is from the doorway of the master bedroom. You can't see the northeast corner, but there is another big window there. You can see the little window in the northwest corner, and that is in our master bathroom. No internal walls are built yet.


#3 This is the french door from the master bedroom (the east wall) which leads out to the future back deck.


#4 This is an arial shot from the french door of the master bedroom looking at the back wall of the basement and the walkout portion. There will be a patio and grass down there eventually.


This is looking at the west wall, which will be our laundry room and half bath. That doorway leads out to the garage. I am taking the picture standing in what (i think) will be our living room?


This is Kyle, our builder. We LOVE him, even though he won't let me take his picture!
