Step #8...Setting the TGI's (i-joists) and the sheetings

We now have a floor! Yay! It is really starting to look like a house now! They layed the i-joists and the LVL beams, which hold the floor up. The biggest change was when they put the sheeting down, which will be the floor we walk on! Well, after we carpet/hardwood.

Today (Thursday) they are supposed to build our walls. So more to come tomorrow! Now we're really cooking!
This first picture is looking at the front of the house.
They just backfilled, so it's hard to see..

Step #7...Pouring the Subfloor

You might wonder where the pictures are...well, I haven't taken any since the forms were poured! I will get out there today with my camera, but it's going to be hard to separate out the different stages.

We have officially poured the subfloor. It looks fabulous. It also took forever. We got a ton of rain and the house site was a muddy mess. Not fun.

Pictures to come...
